This is an exhibition only last for 4 hours. It is not a musical performance despite of it was initiated from concept of music.

One main element of music is its time point of start and
end. In a context of exhibition, such “frame” no longer exists. Audiences could start or end their own watching and listening at any point of time.

It is a kind of music, which consists no structure, no development and no continuity. Each audience gets the same sections of it. Namely, more or less repetition of same sections depends on how long or how short the time he/she spends in the exhibition.

Each section therefore equals to infinity time. This music could be started since 100 years ago, and not end till 100 years later.

This is the time section. It’s not still but rather vibrating and waving as a second hand of clock stuck there. It’s shaking on the plate of clock for it endlessly repeating very little range of time.

The Bunker has relationship with a special historical period. This history has still related to today's reality. But isn’t it true that all the spaces have connecting to history and all histories connecting to and been re-formed by the reality?

We have to consider how human formed time and floating within it. The history we try to describe and understand also contains same possibilities of time: no such thing as law of causation, no such idea as linear logic, and no such illusion as continuity. The very time which could never repeat and been re-experienced will only happen with a new practice.

This work consists several parts by no linear relationship. There is a contradiction comes with the architecture structure of The Bunker (a series of small rooms follows by after another). This contradiction is an invitation to audience for a re-seeing to everyday life experience, and for invent ones own time.

这是一个只持续 4 个小时的展览。它从音乐 的概念出发,但并不是一场音乐表演。

音乐的一个主要因素,是开始和结束的时间。 在展览的语境中,这个“画框”不复存在,观众 可以在任何时间开始和结束自己的看和听。

这是一种没有结构,没有发展,没有延续性 的音乐。每个观众得到的,都是同样的切片,或 者说,因为观展时间或长或短,而得到同一组切 片的或多或少的重复。

每一个切片,也等同于无限的时间。这个音 乐可以是 100 年前已经开始了的,可能 100 年后 也不会结束。

这就是时间的切片。它并不是静止的,而是 抖动、波动的,就像一个卡住了的秒针,在钟表 的盘面上抖动,不断重复着很小范围的一段时间。

“掩体空间”关联着一段特殊的历史,这历 史也仍关联着现实。但,难道不是所有的空间都 关联着历史,而且所有的历史都关联着现实,并 不断被现实重塑吗?

我们不得不考虑人如何塑造了时间,并在其 中随波逐流。我们试图描述和理解的历史,也都 隐含着同样的时间的可能:没有因果律,没有线 性逻辑,没有连续性的幻觉。那个不能再现、不 能重新经历的时间,只在新的参与中发生。

作品由若干没有线性关系的局部组成,这和 掩体空间的建筑结构(一连串的小房间)形成了 矛盾,它邀请观众重新审视自己的日常体验,并 且发明自己的时间。
